ATTENDANCE POLICY
•Regular and prompt attendance to every practice is the key to success on the field. (Mandatory attendance to all practices, games, and football sponsored events)
•If your student athlete is going to be absent from school and/or practice please notify attendance office and Head Football Coach via phone.
•Bring a doctor’s note the following day of attendance.
•Tardies disrupt practice/class time and causes the student who is late, as well as the other students, to lose valuable instructional time.
•Tardy = additional conditioning after practice (“Death March”)
•3 Tardies in a week = sitting out the whole Game.

IT IS STATE LAW THAT EVERY STUDENT ATTENDS SCHOOL EVEY DAY, UNLESS S/HE HAS A VERIFIED EXCUSE TO BE ABSENT FROM SCHOOL.

If you are suspended from school and/or Football students may not participate in any school related event or related activity.

All disciplinary actions follow due process!

QUITING POLICY
•WHS Football program is opposed to quiting, regardless of each player’s physical abilities.
•We are committed to the idea that every player in our football program makes an important contribution to the team’s success and that when a player quits, he deprives the team of that contribution.
•If a player determines not to be part of the program we ask that:
• 1. Meet with the Head Coach before making any decision.
